Ainthavinit Media is an independent investigative media organization built in Northeast Ohio. We investigate overlooked issues, challenge accepted norms, and give ordinary people the evidence they need to ask better questions.
We don't begin with conclusions.
We identify questions. We obtain records. We interview people on all sides. We collect data. We verify claims. We publish supporting evidence. We correct mistakes publicly.
And when the evidence contradicts what we expected — we publish that too.
That last part is critical. It's what separates investigative journalism from activism. Ainthavinit Media exists to investigate, not to confirm. We go where the evidence leads, and we bring you with us.

Our principles.
Independence
We accept no advertising and no corporate sponsorships. Where we seek grants, we only accept funding from sources that have no stake in what we cover. We also offer community-provided merchandise — goods donated by local businesses to support the work and strengthen the community around it. Our only obligation is to our readers and the public interest.
Transparency
Every claim we make is traceable. We publish our source documents, our data, and our methodology. You should never have to take our word for it.
Accountability
We cover institutions with power over people's lives — government agencies, corporations, utilities, developers. We don't cover celebrities.
Source protection
We take source security seriously. We use Signal, SecureDrop, and encrypted email. We will never burn a source.

Ainthavinit Media is being built in Northeast Ohio by people who believe that accountability journalism matters — and that the beginning of a story is worth telling. We're not a legacy newsroom. We're not pretending to be one. We're starting with one investigation, one community, and one question at a time.
